Performance history in South Africa

In September 2002 the Johannesburg Operatic and Dramatic Society (JODS), BHP Billiton and the National Arts Council sponsored the Wits Drama Department to stage Sauer Street at the Wits Theatre Complex, directed by Greg Homann, with Ann Masina, Wayne van Rooyen, Ramolao Makhene, Ntambo Sepeng and others in the cast.
