DORNFORD-MAY, Mark (1955- ) is a British-born South African theatre and film director. [1]
Projects include: Isango Portobello production company. The Mysteries: An Epic Biblical Drama, a South African version of the Mystery plays, first done at the Spier Amphitheatre in 2000, became an international hit. Revived in 2009 as Yimimangaliso: The Mysteries, The Magic Flute – Impempe Yomlingo, with text and direction by Mark Dornford-May and first performed at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town by Isango Portobello in 2007.
