First performed in the UK by the Soho Theatre Company at the Cockpit Theatre in London on April 13, 1993 and the US at the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York on April 26, 1994.
Performance history in South Africa
Staged in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre in March 1997, directed by Barbara Rubin, with Dorothy-Ann Gould, Paddy Canavan, Leila Hendriques, Louise Barnes, Susan Rossouw, Robert Hobbs. Sets by Nadia Cohen.
Staged in the Baxter Theatre in September 1997, directed by Roy Sargeant, with Helen Bourne, Diane Wilson, Bo Petersen, Bianca Amato, Siobhan Hodgson and Kevin Smith. (Nominated for several Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards.
