(18**-18**) Also known as Johannes Lotz. Printer, newspaper owner and amateur theatre entrepreneur. Possibly the son of the theatre personality N.J. Lotz. He had a printing shop at 45 Buitengracht street, and printer and co-owner of the Zuid Afrikaan newspaper.
He was apparently the secretary and driving-force behind the short-lived but prolific children's dramatic society Kunst en Smaak from 1835 to 1836.
