Later she joined the Hanekoms, played for JAATS and for several years she worked for the NTO. She had roles in Skrikkeljaar (NTO, 1958). She acted in the films Bou van 'n Nasie and Lord Oom Piet. Became a favourite actress on TV in series such as Nommer Asseblief (as tant Betta) and Egoli. Her son is the actor and radio personality Morné Coetzer.
