Talk of the Devil. A portrait of Lucifer with some Lesser Demons and an occasional glimpse into Hell. Devised by Michael Atkinson from a well-chosen selection of material about the devil drawn from Egyptian folklore, The Bible, Paradise Lost, Dr Faustus. medieval mystery plays, etc.
Performance history in South Africa
CAPAB, 1971, performed at the Libertas Theatre, 1971. Stage manager Paddy Canavan, lighting by Johan Stockenström.
Presented by Michael Atkinson at the Grahamstown Festival, 1982; Baxter Theatre, 2000. Designs by Brian Collins.
