Biography
Born and raised in Johannesburg
Training
Studied drama at UCT under Robert Mohr and Mavis Taylor. She also studied costume design, stage management and make up. She graduated in 1978 with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama.
Career
Joined CAPAB 1979-1980. Returned to Johannesburg to free-lance.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As student she had roles in The Taming of the Shrew (Kate), Poor Bitos (Victoire) and Charlie's Aunt (Kitty). Productions with CAPAB included Death of a Salesman, The Government Inspector, Faust and many schools' programmes. Plays since then include The Crucible, Seer in the Suburbs, Aladdin, The Night of the Iguana and The Tempest.
She has also appeared in film, TV and radio productions.
