Biography
Grew up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), moved to London after World War Two. Wrote The Golden Grain (1951), the thriller The Painted Devil (1952). He returned to Rhodesia in 1954, moved to South Africa in 1974. He was married to Clare Marshall.
Training
Career
Apeared in about 250 plays in London, became interested in the construction of plays and began writing plays.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Played “Percy” in Rattle of a Simple Man and “Lutz” in Student Prince, also performed in Alfie, Guys and Dolls, Swansong, and London Assurance. He wrote Till Debts Do Us Part.
