The Oresteia by Aeschylus. *** In 1981 Dieter Reible did a memorable Afrikaans production of the trilogy for CAPAB. Entitled Die Oresteia-Trilogie, it was translated by Merwe Scholtz, and starred Wilna Snyman, Johan Malherbe, Marthinus Basson, Grethe Fox and Marga van Rooy. Decor and costumes by Raimons Schoop, lighting by Leon Benzakein.
