His Die Spinner was the late night show at Upstairs at the Market in January 1985.
In 1987 he started the theatre company the Mamu Players with John Ledwaba, working on Township Boy and Street Sisters.
He worked with Barney Simon on the stage adaptation of Klaaglied vir Koos.
