Willem Benoy (18**-19**) Flemish actor.
Dr Willem Benoy trained in Belgium and later joined the Koninklijke Vereniging Het Nederlandsh Toneel. Ludwig Binge (1969, p71) describes some of his work in the Netherlands, then infers that he came to South Africa and would have an influence here - however, no further mention is made of his actual work in South Africa.
He was mentioned as a member of Louis de Vriendt's company in 1937.
