("Cradock Debating Society") ** An Afrikaans Organisation which produced a number of "entertainments" for charity purposes after the Anglo-Boer War. These included the first productions of D.P du Toit's plays Di Herwonne Koningkryk of Onreg Hersteld ("The Regained Kindom or A Wrong set Right", a 3-act tragedy, 1906) and Jaloesi en Geldsug ("Jealousy and Greed", a melodrama, 1906-7?).
