Performed by Garrison Players (in fact the the officers of the 98th regiment), on 28 July 1835 in the African Theatre, followed by The Review, or The Wags of Windsor (Colman Jr).
Possibly to have been performed on 11 July 1854 by Garrison Players in 1854, to be followed by A Peculiar Position. Apparently this did not take place due to the illness of the stage manager, but probably was done some time later.
