"ʼn Klop. Die deur word oopgemaak. Die man herken nie die vrou by die deur nie. Sy kom hom herinner aan ’n belofte wat hy 24 jaar tevore gemaak het: om haar ewig lief te hê. Wat volg, is ’n vurige verhaal vol humor en kinkels wat mettertyd uitkring tot ’n volbloed tragedie."
