Training
Studied for a BA Drama degree from the University of Pretoria in 1998
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Best known for his TV roles in the soaps such as Egoli, 7de Laan, Generations and Villa Rosa, and so on, he began with voicework in 1999. His range includes TV ads, short movies, comedy shows, special appearances and soaps. Many of his stage performances have been done in collaboration with critically acclaimed actors, writers and directors.
Stage roles include Chris Vorster’s Gehang (KKNK, 2005) and Sophia Mentz Beredder Haar Boedel.
He played Karel in the film Klein Karoo (2013).
Awards
He was nominated for a Vita Award (Gauteng region) in 2001 as best actor in musical theatre for his role in Marilyn Live.
