Biography
Born and grew up in the Western Cape town of Worcester, where she met her future husband David Kramer during their school days.
She passed away unexpectedly on 13 October, 2026.
The couple had two daughters, Jesse and Amy.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She was not only closely involved as producer and facilitator with her husband's amazing journey as a solo artist, but his partner and business manager for most of his theatrical projects, including the Dock Road Theatre and David Kramer Productions.
As a producer she was responsible for many of his many own shows (see the entry on David Kramer for a listing) as well as the celebrated works he did with Taliep Petersen, such as the influential District Six – The Musical, Fairyland (1990), Crooners (1992), Poison (1992), Kat and the Kings (1995), Klop Klop (1996) and Ghoema (2005).
Although much of her work took place behind the scenes, her influence extended from local theatre stages to London’s West End and Broadway.
