Sending van vêr is a radio serial by Eben Cruywagen (1956-2026).
The serial
Specially developed and written by Eben Cruywagen in celebration of the centenary of the Afrikaans language (Afrikaans 100) in 2025. According to the author, the aim was to portray the creativity, versatility and adaptability of the language, as well as its ability to create neologisms.
Broadcast 8 April, 2025, directed by Johan Rademan, with, among others, De Klerk Oelofse, Anrich Herbst, Maria Vos, Ilne Fourie, Jacques Bessenger and Wilhelm van der Walt.
