Original text
It appears the title of this entertainment is derived from two popular 19th century music-hall songs:
"Ka-Foozle-Um" (also known as "Kafoozelum", "Kathusalem" and "The Harlot of Jerusalem" (first published in 1865) - a hit in the British music halls of the mid-1860s; and "Turkey Rhubarb" (first published in 1867)- another music hall song.
