Weg: an Afrikaans monologue by Carlo Daniels (2021)

The original text

A short monologue, written for the LitNet's Stemme | Voices | Amazwi project, a series of 10 monologues by established and upcoming dramatists, presented in co-operation with the Suidoosterfees, KKNK and NATi. This is a piece about a prisoner who ruminates on issues like being a man, fatherhood, guilt and self recrimination.
