Sinethemba Twani is a playwright and theatre maker.

Biography

Born in Gugulethu, Cape Town, he was raised there by his grandmother, his parents having passed away. He initially studied retail business management at CPUT, but dropped out in March 2009 to work at a Caltex garage to support his family, while also moonlighting at ArtsCape. When his first play was accepted for performance at the ArtsCape Spring Drama Season in 2011, he resigned to concentrate on his work in theatre.
