Biography
Mikyall David Harris is from the Boland town of Worcester.
Training
He completed his undergraduate studies in BA Drama and Theatre studies at Stellenbosch University, and in 2023 was busy with his honour’s degree in Applied Theatre.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Some of his work includes Tsekmate, Su’walla Kassam and Ko’ lat o’s speel which were seen at festivals like the KKNK and Suidoosterfees. His play, Waar die wind ons waai, was presented at Teksmark 2023.
Awards
In 2023 he received a Kanna nomination for Best Children’s Theatre Presentation.
