The original text
The play incorporates drama, tap dance and music to explore the lives and hearts of South African five women who want to be free to express themselves and who believe that one day South Africa will be run by women.
Performance history in South Africa
2006: After opening at their own theatre in Johannesburg and an initial tour of South Africa, the Abangani Theatre production was staged in Sanlam Studio at the Baxter Theatre Cape Town from 4-9 December, directed by the author with starring Lindiwe Ndlovu, Priscilla Phangoa, Sibongile Nkosi, Ncebakazi Thintsila, and Malobane Mbatha. It then transferred to play at the Market Theatre from 12-24 December.
