An interactive "theatre-in-the-round" experience in which a circle is drawn, where Sinakho village has gathered to perform their annual ritual ceremony. Then stranger arrives and the village will never be the same again.

Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

2006: The premiere presented by Sue Clarence Promotions, in association with the Playhouse Company in Durban, and performed by Ellis Pearson, Bheki Mkhwane, Lwazi “Zorro” Xaba, Ndikho Xaba. makes use of physical theatre and innovative musical instruments.

2008: Performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.
