The original text
This play gained international prominence and itself became a message advocating the global isolation of South Africa.

Performance history in South Africa
1985: Presented at the Market Theatre and Baxter theatre, directed by Percy Mtwa. Cast : Sydney Khumalo, Aubrey Moalusi Molefe, Audrey Radebe.
1986: Presented at Eyethu Cinema with the original cast before they left to perform in Scotland.
