Samuel Jonas Baloyi is a Tsonga author, playwright and translator. His earliest work was of a novelette entitled Murhandziwani (1942), and this was followed by a historical drama entitled Xaka (1954 the first published Tsonga drama - also published by APB in 1960 and 1983), He did Tsonga translations of Booker T.
