It is the saga "Nowell Fine": kugel, liberal and survivor. Featuring Pieter-Dirk Uys who presents various episodes in her life from 1976 to 2004: fighting apartheid, blaming apartheid, towards the future when apartheid is just a pigment of the imagination. First produced in 1998 at Evita se Perron in Darling, then went on tour, becoming part of Uys's repertoire.

In 2000 adapted as a 13-part TV series, directed by Robert Davis.
