The production was mounted in His Majesty’s Theatre, and although only £12 was earned, the production was seen as an important recognition of the quality of work done by the amateur society.
Johannesburg Repertory Society, Standard Theatre, 1946. In the original London production Flora Robson played Olwyn Peel. Here played by Wendy Hardy Lezard. Also starring Llorrine Scotts, Michael Dudley, produced by Anna Romaine Hofman.
