Merrel Petersen is a playwright, stage manager


As a student at the Stellenbosch Drama Department, she trained as a stage manager, but also took the playwriting course, for which translated Two Women by Eileen Russel and Herbert Chown and Twee Vroue and and wrote an original one-act play called Verdwaalde Skadu's ("Lost shadows").
