Vergenoeg by George Weideman

The play written in 2003, was the first overall winner of the Sanlam-prys vir Afrikaanse Teater in 2004 when performed by the University of Stellenbosch.

Marita van der Vyver's novel Vergenoeg was adapted for the stage by Alexa Strachan, with music by Herman van den Berg.
