The original text
C.J. Langenhoven’s story was adapted as a pantomime by Lizz Meiring and Hannes Muller in 1998, with music by Didi Kriel and lyrics by Lizz Meiring and Didi Kriel.
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
1998: Performed in Pretoria, directed by Lizz Meiring and Hannes Muller, msuical direction by Didi Kriel and choreography by Christopher Kindo.
1999: The same production performed at the Spier Arts Festival near Stellenbosch.
