Sydney Witkin' (19*-) was an actor

Biography

Born in South Africa, the brother to Alec “Afrique” Witkin, he was married to Minna Schneier.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was a member of Johannesburg Repertory Society.

He had roles in Robert Ardrey’s Thunder Rock, The Flashing Stream (1943, directed by Muriel Alexander with Minna Schneier), The Searching Wind (1945), Counsellor-at-Law, They Came to a City, The Coral King.
