Antoinette se Konsert is a bilingual (Afrikaans and English) cabaret, devised and performed by writer/singer/performer Antoinette Pienaar and composer and musician Jacques Geldenhuys.
Contents
The piece
A cabaret presentation consisting of stories written and narrated/performed by Pienaar, interspersed with various Afrikaans folk songs (many from the FAK Sangbundel ), English ballads (e.g. Sacrifice and The Rose), and songs of their own devising, with lyrics by Pienaar and music by Geldenhuys.
