The Changing Room is a play by David Storey (1933-2017)[1].

The original text
Set in a men's changing room before, during and after a rugby league football game, the play had its premiere at the Royal Court Theatre on 9 November 1971, directed by Lindsay Anderson. Produced on Broadway in 1973, directed by Michael Rudman.
