Joyce Egerton was an actress and company manager.
Sometimes billed simply as Miss Egerton.

Biography
She was married to the actor George Case (also billed as Mr Case) and the couple later had their own company, known as the Egerton and Case Company.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
They had arrived in South Africa as members of Disney Roebuck's company in 1878, but during Roebuck's absence in from the country, they rented the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, from 7 - 16 August to do their own productions and hosting other performers and companies.
