Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He is cited by Groom (1899-1900) as one of two painters of renown who had painted "the scenery, drop-act, etc" for Sefton Parry's new season in the refurbished Cape Town Theatre (1859-1960). The other painter mentioned was Mr Gates.
