Solide Menschen is a farce by A.D. van Buuren (fl. 1870s?)
Probably written for the Rederijkers, the only production in the Netherlands noted on the internet was in 1873, where Solide Menschen is described as a "Comieke chene" and performed by the society Onder Ons in Groenendijk, as part of their annual production.
1870: Performed by Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst in the Oddfellows' Hall, Cape Town, on 23 June (with Rinaldo Rinaldini by Vulpius and some ballet items), possibly repeated 7 July and again circa 21 July.
