Jo'burg Messiah is a play by Michael Picardie (1936-).

The original text
Based on Bandiet ("convict") the prison reminiscences of Hugh Lewin, the play was f First performed by the Sherman Arena Company, Cardiff at the Oxford as part of the Observer Festival of Theatre in 1980/1981, directed by John Lindstrum.
The text is unpublished, but can be obtained from the author.
