Hugh C. Buckler (fl. 1904) is the name of a British actor.
Mentioned by D.C. Boonzaier (1923) as a promising young actor who visited Cape Town in 1904 as a member of the Frawley Company, inter alia playing "De Neipperg" in Madame Sans-Gêne (Sardou and Moreau).
Boonzaier says he lost track of Buckler after the Cape visit, but it may possibly be a reference to the stage and film actor later known simply as Hugh Buckler (1881-1936)[1]. Buckler was born on 9 September 1881 in Southampton, Hampshire, UK and died on 30 October 1936 in a motor accident with his son Joahn in Malibu, California, U.S.
