Performance history in South Africa
1888-9 Performed by Lillian Beddard and her company in South Africa, with Beddard as "Clara Douglas". Among the cities played were Johannesburg (the Theatre Royal, 10-14 June), Kimberley and Cape Town (the Exhibition Theatre).
