The Woman in the Case is a comedy by G.R. Sims (George Robert Sims, 1847-1922)[1] and Leonard Merrick (1864-1939)[2].

Produced at the Court Theatre, London, in 1901 by Fred Kerr and H.T. Brickwell.

Performance history in South Africa
1910: Produced by Leonard Rayne and his company, as part of their repertoire of six plays, opening at the Standard Theatre, Johannesburg, and then touring the various cities, including a performances at the Opera House, Cape Town, in April.
