De Oudste Zoon ('the eldest son"), claimed to be by P. Van de Velde.
This may possibly be an early version of the unknown French original that was later translated from the French into Dutch verse and became De oudste zoon des huizes by H.P. Dewald, a short play in 2 acts , written for the Rederijkers, published 1886
1868: Performed in the hall of the Germania Liedertafel, Cape Town by Aurora II on 6 August, with Jan Sukkel (Wijnstok).
