Dramatised monologues from Simon’s collection of short stories entitled Jo’burg, Sis!, featuring a variety of characters from the city. The three monologues are titled: 'Joburg, Sis', 'Men Should Cry more Often', and 'Miss South Africa [6]'.
Published as Hey, Listen... in Market Plays by AD Donker, 1986.
Performance history in South Africa
1974: First performed at the Arena Theatre, Doornfontein by The Company in 1974, featuring Marius Weyers, Paul Slabolepszy and Vanessa Cooke.
