Biography
Chris was in the class of 1970 at Durban High School and was Academic Dux in that year. He has supported the School in a number of activities over the years including the building of Seabrooke's Theatre.
Chris is a director of numerous JSE listed companies. He is currently CEO of Sabvest, Chairman of Metrofile Holdings and Transaction Capital, Deputy Chairman of Massmart and a director of Brait, Datatec and Net1 UEPS Technologies.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He replaced Graham English as Brickhill-Burke’s financial advisor at His Majesty's Theatre in 1977.
He is a former Chairman of the South African State Theatre and Deputy Chairman of the inaugural National Arts Council of South Africa.
