He was a lecturer of music and drama and former and a founding member of SAADYT
Administrative contributions
Organiser of the Student Drama, Grahamstown Festival (?* 199*-200*), Drama Manager of CAPAB, Director of the Tulbagh Festival, Executive Director of the Western Cape Theatre Company (2004-).
As adjudicator
In 1994 he was one of the judges for the Amstel Playwright of the Year Award, Judge for the Nagtegaalprys for drama (2003, 2004).
