First held on 3 September, 2016 as a one day event at the Florida Hoërskool Sportgronde ("Florida High School Sport Grounds"), it consisted of a wide range of entertainment forms, from popular music and food stalls to veteran car show and helicopter flips.
In 2017 the format changed to a week long event.
