REDD'S Street Carnival is an annual event organized in Port Elizabeth by the students of Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
First organized under this sponsor's name in 2015, it takes place at Kings Beach, Humewood, Port Elizabeth, and consists of a social festival of music, dance and pageantry - a mix of local art and culture groups, pantsula dancers, giant puppets and South African inspired floats. THe ev ent begins at 15H00 and continues till midnight, with the [[carnival] procession starting from the NMMU campus at 17h30.
