Kobus Botha (1964-) film actor, producer and restaurantier
Biography
Born on a farm in the Oudtshoorn district, he studied drama at the University of Cape Town, and while there entered the film world, initially as an actor and later as producer for a while. He met his wife, film director Delphine Brêmond in this period and they later moved to France, soon after the birth of their son, Solen, in 2005. There he entered the restaurant business as a restaurantier (Karoo in Mallemort and My Food in Paris were two of his restaurants), then gradually evolved as a braai (barbecue) specialist and caterer.
