Trial by Jury of Dr Abstinence is an anonymous piece mentioned by F.C.L. Bosman (1980: p.268).

The original text

Whether this was a locally written work, or an imported piece, is unknown, but it was apparently a propaganda piece intended to counter excessive drinking in society.
