Captain Borton (fl. mid 19th century) was a British military officer, possibly of the 9th Regiment, and an amateur performer.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

While stationed in Cape Town with the 9th Regiment, he performed for and led a company of officers who appeared in a Benefit Performance for the Somerset Hospital (Theatre Royal, 4 and 5 March, 1867).
