The Disagreeable Surprise is a musical farce in two acts by George Daniel (1789–1864)[1]

The original text
First performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 1926, and published as Volume 14 of Cumberland's British theatre by J. Cumberland, 1826. Also published by Duncombe in 1836 (with Charles Selby's Catching an Heiress).
